GlowLab Protocol · Twelve Weeks
Twelve weeks,
then measure.
A protocol you can actually finish: one daily ritual, four training sessions, a fortnightly check-in, and a hard stop at week twelve to decide whether it worked. No subscription that quietly renews the question.
The levers
What the twelve weeks change.
Six pillars, sequenced. You do not start them all in week one, and that is the point.
The cycle
Log the weeks.
Twelve boxes. Tick one when the ritual has been kept four days out of seven. Nothing is stored on a server; the boxes are yours to keep or ignore.
Weeks 1–3 build the habit. Weeks 4–8 add load. Weeks 9–12 hold steady and measure. If nothing changed by week twelve, the protocol failed, not you.
Pillar 01
Anti-Aging Nutrition
Food is the only intervention you repeat three times a day for forty years. We treat it as the primary dose, not the backdrop.
GlowLab plates are built on four levers: collagen precursors, a high omega-3 index, a broad polyphenol load, and resistant starch for the gut. Nothing exotic. Everything repeated, because repetition is the only mechanism that compounds.
Organic where the skin is eaten. Local where the season allows. Nothing shipped by air that could have grown in the garden.
- Collagen precursors
Glycine, proline and lysine arrive intact. Vitamin C from camu camu drives the cross-linking that makes them useful at all.
- Omega-3 index
Target above 8% on a fingerstick test. Membrane fluidity reads on the face as luminosity, usually by week twelve.
- Polyphenol load
Anthocyanins blunt MMP-1, the collagenase ultraviolet light switches on. Colour on the plate is protection on the skin.
- Resistant starch
Feeds Akkermansia and the butyrate producers. A calmer gut shows up as calmer skin, measured in flare frequency rather than adjectives.
Pillar 02
Organic Recipes
Every recipe is written for one cook, one pan, and no more than four steps that matter.
We cook against ultra-processing, not against pleasure. Each recipe names its active compound and the temperature that preserves it, so the method is the medicine.
All recipes are gluten-optional and scale by two without changing the method. Frozen is fine; ultra-processed is not.
- Saffron & blood orange bowl
Sheep's yoghurt, toasted buckwheat, saffron steeped at 70 °C so the crocin survives the heat that would otherwise destroy it.
- Slow tomato & basil tart
Low oven, long time. Lycopene bioavailability rises with heat and a fat carrier, so the olive oil is not optional.
- Golden turmeric lentils
Fresh turmeric with black pepper and coconut fat. Curcumin needs all three to clear first-pass metabolism in useful amounts.
- Rose & pistachio chia
Chia as the thickener, rose water added off the heat so the volatiles stay in the bowl instead of the ceiling.
Pillar 03
Herbal Formulations
Every formula states its actives, its percentage, and what it deliberately leaves out.
We formulate to pH 5.5, exclude fragrance and essential oils from anything that stays on the skin, and publish the percentage of every active on the front of the bottle. If a number is missing, the ingredient is decoration.
Patch test behind the ear for three consecutive nights before first full use. Stop if the barrier argues.
- Bakuchiol night serum
Retinol's gentler analogue. Comparable gene expression, no barrier thinning, no photosensitivity to schedule around.
- Calendula barrier balm
Infused at 60 °C for six hours, never above. For the nights your skin has already had enough.
- Rosemary scalp tonic
With a peppermint counter-irritant. Applied to the scalp, not the hair, because the follicle is the target.
- Green tea & niacinamide mist
EGCG plus B3. The only step in the line you can reapply through the day without disturbing anything underneath.
Pillar 04
Exercise Routines
Muscle is metabolic tissue, and it is the one thing you can rebuild at any age.
Four sessions a week, forty minutes each, ordered by what decays first: aerobic base, grip, hip range, then down-regulation. Recovery is not the absence of training; it is the half of training where adaptation actually happens.
Ramp load 5% a week. End a set when form breaks, not when it burns.
- Zone 2 base
Conversational pace, nose-breathing where possible. Builds mitochondrial density, the closest thing to a systemic anti-aging lever.
- Loaded carry
Grip strength predicts all-cause mortality more reliably than blood pressure does. Heavy enough that the last ten metres are a negotiation.
- Deep squat hold
Hip and ankle range you will still want at eighty. Heels down, ribs stacked, knees tracking over the second toe.
- Breath & down-regulate
Six breaths a minute, nasal only, exhale twice as long as inhale. The cheapest intervention in the protocol.
Pillar 05
Essential Oils
Oils are the most concentrated thing in the routine and the easiest to overuse.
Two drops, diluted, never on broken skin. We treat essential oils as aromatics and preservative support, not as treatment. Anyone selling you a neat application is selling you contact dermatitis with a story attached.
Never ingest. Keep away from children and cats. Store dark, cool and closed; oxidised oils are sensitisers.
- Frankincense
Resinous and grounding. Used in the evening diffuser blend, never neat on the face, despite what the internet recommends.
- Rose otto
Steam-distilled at roughly one drop per thousand petals. Two drops in 10 ml of jojoba is a full dose, not a starting point.
- Neroli
Bitter orange blossom. Bright without the phototoxicity of cold-pressed citrus peel, which is why it is the only citrus in the line.
- Vetiver
Rooty and sedative. The base note that makes the evening blend last past the first twenty minutes.
Pillar 06
Superfood Powders
Powders are a supplement to a plate, not a replacement for one.
We keep the list short and the dose honest. Four powders, each with a reason, a ceiling, and a form that actually absorbs. Everything else in the category is a colour story with a scoop.
Rotate, do not stack. Four powders at once is marketing, not nutrition.
- Moringa leaf
Leaf, not seed, not root. A broad vitamin load with a bitterness that wants something fatty to carry it.
- Camu camu
Around 2% vitamin C by weight. The cofactor that lets collagen precursors assemble into something structural.
- Reishi spore
Spore powder, not mycelium grown on grain. For sleep latency rather than the immunity claims the label usually makes.
- Barley grass
Chlorophyll, potassium and a tolerable taste. The one green powder that earns its place next to actual vegetables.
Daily practice
The daily ritual.
Six minutes of admin in the morning, forty minutes of training at midday, three products at night.
Morning · 07:00
Light, cold, protein
- Ten minutes of daylight before any screen.
- Sixty-second cold finish on the shower.
- 30 g protein within an hour of waking.
Midday · 13:00
Colour, load, movement
- One plate carrying four distinct colours.
- Zone 2 session or a loaded carry block.
- 1 g camu camu alongside lunch, not after.
Evening · 21:00
Warmth, bakuchiol, dark
- Bakuchiol 2% on damp skin, three nights to start.
- Six minutes of nasal breathing, exhale long.
- Lights below eye level by 21:30, phone out of reach.

In writing
People who finished.
Twelve weeks of the evening pillar and my barrier stopped reacting to winter. That is the entire review.
I came for the recipes and stayed because every bottle states its percentage. It is a low bar and almost nobody clears it.
The protocol is the first wellness thing I have kept past February. The planner is why.
